Apache Hi-res model project

I've completed the top rotor arm assembly, still need to add the longbow radar and main mast details that go along with that.  I will be shelving this project for the time being, as I have decided to customise my showreel content more toward game usable assets, which I will be posting up here as I progress with them.

Apache Hi-res model project - 18/07/2011 updates

Finished the nose piece sensor array, I'm planning on putting the lenses in the thermal sensor (bottom right looking front on) on the detail pass towards the end.  I think I'll start working on the top rotor assembly next up.

Apache, High-res model project

I've decided to model an Apache for an updated showreel piece, I've always really liked the aggressive look they have and thought it would make a fun project.  Early days yet but thought I'd put up some WIP's as I go...


03/06/2011 Updates:

Finished blocking out the main body forms, I'll probably do the nose piece then start on the mechanical parts (rear and top rotor assembly, 30mm gun, landing gear) next.

This is a 3D scene I've created based on the concept art of Arnaud Corbel, a concept artist from Ubisoft. I got permission from the artist to use the concept to create a 3D scene from it.

Here is some 2D/3D artwork from a recent unreleased title I have been working on.  Most of these were done fairly quickly especially the 3D characters which were all modeled in Sculptris, the aim was to create a personality, look or mood and move on.
